Sympress Sdn Bhd is an independent publisher of specialist titles based in Kuala Lumpur. In 2000, Sympress published Outside Looking In - Kuala Lumpur, a photographic book of black and white images by Steven V-L Lee.

Past titles include Creating Desire 1996, and Distilling Desire, 1998 by John Machado, which became bestsellers in the Advertising industry. In 1998, Sympress also published a book of poems by renowned Advertising writer Teo Eesim titled But Is It Art?
